Cloud computing presentation to University of Windsor

On May 26, 2011, I had the pleasure of speaking at the University of Windsor's annual Campus Technology Day. Windsor has just recently made the decision to "Go Google" for student e-mail services.

My topic was cloud computing and privacy (with a little bit on copyright thrown in for good measure). Here is the presentation:

  1. Hi David,
It was great having you as part of this year's Campus Technology Day (http://www.uwindsor.ca/ctd).
Your talk was very well received. A few people wanted to know if we had followed your model for working with Google, and I am happy to say that we have. By sharing this information we have made the issues around the move more comfortable for everyone.
We were sorry that you couldn't join us for wine and cheese at the end of the day, but that is one of the issues around video conferencing that technology has not been able to solve yet.
    Thanks,

    Sean Moriarty,
    Acting Executive Director, ITS
    University of Windsor
